Investing.com - Dopo la  di confermare la politica monetaria "ultra" accomodante, l'attenzione si concentra tutta sulla conferenza stampa che la presidente dell'istituto europeo, Christine Lagarde, terrà alle 14:30 CEST.

Le domande potrebbero riguardare il dibattito sul rallentamento degli stimoli monetari, se la discussione è per lo meno stata accennata durante la riunione, e come la BCE avrà intenzione di ridurre un programma dalla portata storica senza causare troppi shock nel sistema. 

Tuttavia, come comunicato da Francoforte nella nota a margine della decisione, non verranno apportate modifiche agli 1.850 miliardi di euro del PEPP "almeno sino alla fine di marzo 2022" e "finché non riterrà conclusa la fase critica legata al coronavirus".

Inoltre, l'ex presidente del Fondo Monetario Internazionale renderà note le nuove proiezioni macroeconomiche, dopo le nuove stime arrivate dalla Commissione Europea che hanno rivisto al rialzo la crescita per l'area euro fino al 2023. L'attenzione sarà rivolta maggiormente alle previsioni sull'inflazione e come la banca abbia intenzione di affrontarla.
